The mandate of the Information Technology team is to provide technological services and solutions to ensure the optimal performance of the Caisse’s activities.

CRITICAL SUPPORT
The team offers vital computer-related support to each of the investment and general services groups. It develops innovative technological solutions that meet the needs and specific nature of the different groups. The team’s activities consist of:

• Providing advice regarding business solutions, optimization of work processes and changes in applications;
• Ensuring the availability of technological infrastructures;
• Managing large-scale information technology projects;
• Monitoring technological and business projects;
• Providing a framework for data management services.

SPECIALIZED EXPERTISE
The responsibilities of the Information Technology team cover four areas of expertise.

• System Changes
  Sees to it that applications are widely available and ensures that they evolve in line with the Caisse’s needs.
• Project Management
  Administers large-scale information technology programs and projects; supervises all the stages of project implementation, from the feasibility analysis to the application phase.
• Project Office
  Develops and monitors all business and technological projects; ensures the application of the project management framework.
• Architecture and Operations
  Provides the teams with daily services relating to infrastructures, technological tools and external market data; establishes a framework for architecture and supports the design and implementation of technological solutions and operating software.
