General Services


An Essential Complement to the Investment Teams 

General services include all of the Caisse’s advisory and administrative functions. Overall, there are six teams which:

  • Depositors and Risks
    Acts as a link between the Caisse and its depositors. This team also provides the framework for risk management, conducts performance analysis and advises Management on the development of the business plan.

  • Finance and Operations
    Ensures financial management in line with the industry’s best accounting practices, manages administrative operations relating to investments and provides employees with the physical environment necessary for performing their work.

  • Human Resources and Organizational Development
    Establishes and manages human resources policies to recruit, motivate and retain the Caisse’s personnel.  Organizes training sessions and promotes a stimulating work environment.

  • Corporate Affairs and Secretariat
    Establishes and manages governance policies, provides the legal expertise concerning these activities, ensures that operations comply with the applicable framework, manages communications and information sources and performs secretariat duties for the Caisse’s Board and decision-making committees.

  • Information Technology
    Manages the technological infrastructure which supports investments, ensures access to data and the ongoing availability of systems, develops technological solutions.

  • Internal Audit
    Acts as an independent auditor in the validation of information on the Caisse’s activities, performs audit activities covering risk assessment and internal controls.
