The Corporate Affairs team is at the heart of several major challenges regarding the management of the Caisse and its corporate responsibility. Its advisors support the Board of Directors, senior management and all of the Caisse’s teams.

The responsibilities of the Corporate Affairs team cover a number of areas of expertise.
- Legal Affairs and Secretariat
Provides all legal services and advice related to the Caisse’s activities. Its professionals also manage legal risk and write the statements and other documents required in accordance with laws and regulations. The Secretariat supports the Board of Directors and its committees as well as senior management and its committees in the performance of their duties.
- Communications
Manages communications within the organization and with external parties. Provides advice and services with respect to relationships with employees, the media, government, business partners, its peers, the financial community and the general public.
- Policies and Compliance
Establishes policies and guidelines relating to legal and regulatory requirements. The Caisse’s experts also set up programs for compliance, socially responsible investments and ethics. In addition, they are in charge of requests for access to information, complaints and the Caisse’s votes in companies of which it is a shareholder. The team is also responsible for managing external information sources, coordinating documentation management and benchmarking activities.
