Our Depositors, Our Clients
The Caisse was created in the mid-1960s to manage the funds of its first depositor: the Québec Pension Plan. It was subsequently awarded other mandates as its expertise as a fund manager became increasingly evident.
The Caisse now has 25 depositors, which are mainly Québec public and private pension and insurance plans. Shown below are the years in which the funds of the seven largest depositors were entrusted to the Caisse.
