Ghislain Gauthier

After a number of years at the Business Development Bank of Canada and Export Development Canada, Ghislain Gauthier joined the Caisse in 1982, specializing mainly in Private Equity and Equity Markets.

Since 2002, Mr. Gauthier has been responsible for the management and development of an important portfolio of North American and European investments in large energy and infrastructure corporations. He is also the architect behind the private equity strategy for the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Mr. Gauthier has a degree in administration from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi and is a chartered financial analyst (CFA). He sits on the Board of Directors of BAA Limited and Gaz Métro.
