Service Agreement
The Basis for a Profitable Relationship
The business relationship between the Caisse and each of its depositors is defined in a service agreement, which specifies:
- The Caisse’s duties and responsibilities as a fund manager;
- The depositor’s responsibilities with regard to the development of its investment policy.
Responsibilities of the Caisse:

- Invest the funds received with the objective of generating an optimal return, in accordance with each depositor’s investment policy.
- Perform research in order to identify attractive investment opportunities on the markets.
- Design and propose new investment products in order to better meet depositors’ needs.
Advisory Services
- Offer advisory services for the development and review of each depositor’s investment policy, while taking into account its performance objectives and risk tolerance.
- Perform simulations of asset allocations to different types of investments in order to optimize the depositors’ benchmark portfolio.
- Prepare economic and financial analyses and provide risk and return forecasts for each type of investment.
- Offer information and training sessions concerning investments and the Caisse’s activities.
Reporting
- Submit monthly reports on the return achieved, its source, the value added compared to the benchmark indices and the risk assumed.
- Issue certificates to attest to its compliance with depositors’ investment policies and with the investment policies according to the integrated risk management policy.
Responsibilities of Each Depositor:
- Establish its investment policy in collaboration with the Caisse, while taking into account its long-term financial obligations and the level of risk it is prepared to assume with regard to the investments made by the Caisse.
- Communicate its investment policy and, if applicable, its updates to the Caisse.
